We empower youth and families in Kampala's ghetto communities through education, health, vocational training and community support programs.
Hope for Ghetto Youth Initiative (HGYiUG) is a community-based non-profit that creates sustainable opportunities for people living in slum communities around Kampala — through skills training, health outreach, education support and small grants for income-generating activities.
Vision: Empowering the youth to become the most-productive component of the community and play an effective role in development.
Mission: To make a sustainable and positive change in lives of people residing in Ghetto communities through high-impact, culturally-competent capacity building programs.
